











Warburg Pincus Interview
This interview conducted by Warburg Pincus asks the candidate to evaluate a potential take private of an industrial equipment manufacturer. The candidate is provided with an interview prompt which lays out a set of transaction assumptions as well as relevant financial and operational metrics related to the asset. In addition to the prompt, the candidate is provided with the asset’s financials in excel format.
The candidate is expected to prepare an LBO model based on transaction assumptions outlined in the prompt. The model is expected to include sources & uses tables, projected financials, relevant returns metrics (e.g., IRR, MOIC, etc.) and return sensitivity analyses.
