L Catterton Interview

This model test was conducted by L Catterton as part of its 2022 recruiting process. The assessment asks the candidate to build a three-statement LBO model.

The candidate is provided with two documents: 

  • 1) An interview prompt which provides relevant transaction assumptions
  • 2) A model template, which also includes the assets financials 

The candidate is expected to prepare a three-statement LBO model, which incorporates a variety of modeling quirks such as an operating model, PIK interest, commitment fees, mandatory amortization, and more. This is a challenging LBO model.
